Built around 1200 and refashioned in Renaissance times, this pentagonal hill-top stronghold houses a branch of the Ptuj-Ormož Regional Museum. Exhibits range from knightly swords and Gothic statues to folk costumes of the Haloze hills, while the castle chapel—with its Baroque organ—hosts intimate concerts. Terraces offer sweeping views of rolling wine-country.
