A rare 17-century Alpine farmstead in the heart of Triglav National Park, dated 1775 inside yet documented as early as 1609, immerses visitors in centuries-old mountain life. Painstaking restoration using traditional skills earned the site a Europa Nostra heritage award. In summer the homestead opens as a museum and park info-point, hosting guided tours, craft workshops and small cultural events that animate its barn, orchard and shepherds’ meadow.
