The Institute for the Preservation of Natural and Cultural Heritage – Lake Temple has been synonymous for over 30 years with an organization that researches, protects, and raises awareness about the natural and cultural heritage of the intermittent Lake Cerknica. We welcome everyone who wishes to get to know this truly unique natural wonder of global significance. Every year we host over 10,000 visitors, both domestic and international. Through years of professional and conscientious work, we have earned the trust of our visitors as an educational, awareness‑raising, and research non‑profit institution working for the common good.
