Since 1961, sculptors from around the globe have gathered in Kostanjevica na Krki to carve monumental works from local oak. The month‑long symposia leave each piece exactly where it was made, weaving more than one hundred sculptures into meadows, riverbanks and the gallery grounds. Wander the town and you wander an ever‑growing open‑air museum where wood, water and imagination meet.
