Božidar Jakac Gallery

Housed in a former monastery in Kostanjevica na Krki, the Božidar Jakac Gallery is a beacon of modern and contemporary art for Slovenia’s southeast while firmly connected to the wider international scene. Its collections chart the country’s artistic journey from the bright sparks of early modernism after 1918, through post‑1945 abstraction, to 21st‑century multimedia practice.
