This 62-m limestone passage near Nemška vas holds cave-bear bones up to 70 000 years old and Europe-unique Neolithic burials. Guided torch tours weave through two entrances into a chimney-studded hall carpeted with guano, where summer brings some 600 Mediterranean horseshoe and Geoffroy’s bats. To protect the nursery, visits are only possible from mid-October to mid-April.
